Overview
Elkamak Grizzly Screen
The Elkamak Grizzly Screen is designed to pre-screen material before it enters the crushing process in quarry and mining applications. It separates soil, fines and unwanted material arriving together with large rock at the beginning of the production line.
Operating Principle
Material received from the bunker or feeder moves across the grizzly bars under a controlled vibrating motion. Soil and particles smaller than the bar openings pass through, while larger and usable rock continues to the primary crusher or the next processing unit.
Adjustable bar openings enable the separation process to be adapted to the characteristics and fine-material content of the feed.
