Elkamak Dewatering Screen

The Elkamak Dewatering Screen is designed to remove excess water from washed sand, gravel and fine aggregate. It produces solid material with reduced moisture while directing the separated water to a drainage or recovery system.

Operating Principle

Wet material fed onto the screen is exposed to high-frequency vibration generated by vibro motors. This vibrating motion moves the solid material across the screening surface in a controlled manner while accelerating the separation of water from the solids.

Fine openings in the screening surface allow water and very fine particles to pass through while retaining the larger product particles. The separated water is directed to a drainage or recovery system, and the solid material reaches the discharge section in a drier condition.

Screening Surface and Material Control

Screen openings can be selected according to the characteristics of the material and the required final product. This enables control over the fine particles removed with the water and the product retained on the surface.
